After a brilliant victory over Estonia (5-0), Gennaro Gattuso’s Italy is ready to return to the pitch against Israel for its fourth match in Group I of 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The match is scheduled for tonight at 8:45 p.m. on the neutral field in Debrecen.

The coach of the Azzurri prepares a few changes ahead of the challenge with the Israelis. The first one is obligatory: Mattia Zaccagni has not been summoned, and Manuel Locatelli should play in his place with the switch to a three-man midfield, completed by Barella and Tonali.

The team’s coach is thinking about a change in the midfield.

Gattuso is also thinking of two replacements in the backline: Gianluca Mancini and Andrea Cambiaso, in fact, should take the place of Riccardo Calafiori and Federico Dimarco, respectively, while Bastoni and Di Lorenzo are going toward confirmation.

Finally, as far as the attack is concerned, the national team coach is still counting on both Retegui and Kean, both of whom scored against Estonia. The offensive trident will be completed by Politano, with Raspadori ready to take over as the game progresses.
