Another divestment for Milan. Adli packs his bags and leaves for Saudi Arabia. Out of Allegri’s Rossoneri project, the French midfielder has, in fact, reached an agreement for a transfer to the’Al-Shabab Club, a Riyadh-based team that is part of the Saudi Pro League.

After the market closed, the Diavolo remained at the window, waiting for the right offer to arrive. In the end, it took the Arab club to convince Adli to leave Milan. On the plate was a monster salary, amounting to seven million euros a season (about three times what he was earning in the Rossoneri).

The Rossoneri club is also smiling, which will collect about eight million euros from the sale of the French midfielder to the’Al-Shabab Club. Most importantly, Tare manages to further thin the squad, just as he was asked by coach Allegri.

Bought by Milan in the summer of 2021 from Bordeux (where he remained until the end of the 2021/22 season), Adli has collected 39 appearances (with one goal) in the Rossoneri shirt. Last season he played, on loan, at Fiorentina where he scored five goals in 28 total appearances. Now he will try to make a difference in the Saudi Pro League where he will find so many former Serie A players who, like him, have decided to get involved in Arab soccer.
