Romelu Lukaku mourning father’s death: "I will never be the same"

Roger Menama Lukaku, father of Napoli and Belgium national team striker Romelu Lukaku, has passed away in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, at just 58 years of age.

He dedicated a post to him on his Instagram account.

“Thank you for teaching me everything I know – wrote the Belgian striker’I will forever be grateful and appreciate you immensely. Life will never be the same again. You protected and guided me as no one else could have done. I will never be the same again”.

“The pain and tears flow nonstop, but God will give me the strength to get back on my feet. Thank you for everything. Roger Menama Lukaku. ‘Vieux Roy’ (for his friends). My father” concludes the’former Inter Milan and Manchester United center forward among others.

Roger Menama Lukaku was a former footballer, playing as a striker. He played for several Belgian clubs and Turkish club Genclerbirligi. In the national team, he wore the jersey of Zaire (now Democratic Republic of Congo).
