Jasmine Paolini unstoppable in Beijing: she’s in the quarterfinals

Jasmine Paolini continues unstoppable her run at the WTA 1000 in Beijing: the Italian tennis player, number 8 in the world, cleared Czech Marie Bouzkova in two sets with a score of 6-2, 7-5 in one hour and 46 minutes.

Another positive test for the Tuscan tennis player against the world number 52: Paolini dominated the first set closing 6-2, while she suffered in the anomalous second partial, characterized by as many as seven breaks. L’Azzurra placed the decisive break in the 12th game, avoiding the tie-break.

Thanks to this victory, Paolini advances to the quarterfinals where she will face U.S. Amanda Anisimova, who in the’other quarter rematched and beat Czech Muchova.
