Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia has no doubts about Valentino Rossi
Pecco Bagnaia on his mentor: “I would have liked to race in the early 2000s, without social and with Valentino Rossi at the top.”
Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia in an interview with Rai 2 returned to talk about his mentor Valentino Rossi: “I would have liked to race in the late 1990s and early 2000s, because without social it would have been easier. And I would have liked to have fought Valentino at the peak of his form, he probably would have beaten me but I would have liked to have fought him. No one will be like him, he was so much greater than the others both on and off the track.”
Bagnaia also dwelt on the title chase: “It’s like starting from scratch now that there are three races to go. On Monday I will leave for Australia and then Malaysia I have a lot of respect for Quartararo, I have known him for many years. He has been very consistent this season, I think he is very good because he is still in contention despite a less competitive bike than mine. He has been very good.”
