Max Verstappen at Suzuka fears only wet track
The words of Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen spoke after Friday’s free practice session at Suzuka: “Honestly, I would have liked to have had two sessions that were quieter weather-wise, but it’s always nice to be on this track. In any case, the work didn’t go badly, we lapped a bit and did something. On Saturday we will start from scratch, but it will be like that for everyone.”
“With the laps done the knowledge of our pace in the wet is complicated anyway. Let’s say we laid the groundwork in case the rain returns on Sunday. I am curious ahead of tomorrow, when the forecast is for dry weather and, finally, we will understand how competitive we will be in those conditions,” the world champion concluded.
