The Dodgers won the World Series for the ninth time.
L’Los Angeles Dodgers all-star Yamamoto was named MVP of the World Series. “Before I took the field, to be honest, I wasn’t sure I could pitch to the best of my ability. However, when I started warming up, I started getting confident and thinking I could come in and do my job” the words of the 27-year-old Dodgers pitcher reported by ESPN.
“Yamamoto has been unbelievable” said catcher Smith, author of the decisive home run for the Dodgers’ tiebreaker in the 11th inning. “He“s an outfielder. There’s no other way to describe him. He is an outfielder. He can control six or seven different kinds of spin, and obviously, that division is hard to pull off” Springer”s words.
