Jannik Sinner deadly: the Italian tennis player after conquering Vienna also triumphed in Paris, taking advantage in the best possible way of the defeat of arch-rival Carlos Alcaraz in his debut in the French Masters 1000. Thanks to this success, the San Candido outfielder was able to return to number one in the world, after the Murcia champion undermined him at the end of the US Open. And now Jannik is aiming for the grand finale d’year in Turin.

Maintaining world number one until the end of the year is far from easy, but not as difficult as it seemed just a few weeks ago, before the Alcaraz debacle under the Eiffel Tower. Sinner’s performance on indoor concrete was indeed predictable, while the Spaniard’s knockout was surprising: everything is at stake at the ATP Finals, here are the combinations.

Jannik Sinner ends the year as world number one if… the combinations

If he wins the ATP Finals by winning all five matches and Alcaraz loses at least one match in the group stage and does not reach the finals
-if he conquers the ATP Finals by losing only one match in the group stage and Alcaraz wins only one match in the entire tournament
-if he conquers the ATP Finals by losing two matches in the rounds and Alcaraz loses all the matches.

.

It will therefore depend both on his results and on the resilience of Carlos Alcaraz, who is full of revenge after the defeat in Paris and the one in the Six Kings Slam final against the very Blue. If Sinner remains number one in the world he will accomplish a real feat, considering that he had to stop three months because of his disqualification for the Clostebol case.
