Stephen Mazzoli now sets his sights on paper on Asian Tour

Stefano Mazzoli, after gaining the ‘card’ for the DP World Tour with his eighth place in the Road to Mallorca (order of merit) on the HotelPlanner Tour, thanks to his second in the Rolex Grand Final, now returns to the Asian Tour, to confirm the ‘card’ also on this circuit where he is currently 58th in the ranking.
The Azure is participating in the Moutai Singapore Open, scheduled for Nov. 6-9 at The Singapore Island Country Club (Millennium & Peirce) in Singapore, one of the events with a prize pool of $2,000,000 (with a first coin of $360,000), which, as always, has attracted the attention of some LIV Golf players.
The field, in fact, includes Americans Talor Gooch, Anthony Kim, Caleb Surratt, John Catlin, Ollie Schniederjans, Belgium’s Thomas Pieters and England’s Paul Casey. They will be among the favorites in a top-quality field that includes eight of the top 10 on the Order of Merit: Japan’s Kazuki Higa (No. 1), Zimbabwe’s Scott Vincent (No. 2) with a past on the Arab Superleague, Philippines’ Miguel Tabuena (No. 3), Thailand’s Rattanon Wannasrichan (No. 6), Poom Saksansin (No. 7) and Suteepat Prateeptienchai (No. 9), Australia’s Wade Ormsby (No. 8) and Taiwan’s Wei-hsuan Wang (No. 10).
Also to follow are Filipino Angelo Cue, Koreans Bio Kim and Soomin Lee, fellow Zimbabwean Kierat Vincent, Scott’s brother and also with experience on LIV Golf, Thais Jazz Janewattananond and Kiradech Aphibarnrat, New Zealander Ben Campbell and Australian Scott Hend, current No. 1 on the Legends Tour.
