VR46, Fabio Di Giannantonio: "I got bottled up"

Ver46 team centaur Fabio Di Giannantonio bitterly commented on his eighth place finish in the MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix: “The race was complicated from the start: unfortunately, we got bottled up in the first corners, so I had to make up positions”.

The race of Valentino Rossi’s team rider was complicated: “We did a lot of overtaking and a good comeback, we had a good pace. But we finished eighth and I am not happy in terms of the result”.

“The positive aspect is that the pace was there, the feeling was good – is Di Giannantonio’s assessment -. With a better qualifying, today we had the pace to be in the Top5, so that’s something we have to improve on. We are working on it and we will continue to do so for the end of the season”.
