Novara hunting for redemption after two tie-break defeats

Lorenzo Bernardi’s Igor Volleyball goes on the hunt for redemption after the two consecutive tie-break defeats accrued against Scandicci (at home) and Perugia (away) in the last two outings.
Still without Tolok, the Azzurri will take on Vallefoglia of the many exes (Bartolucci, Bici, Candi and Giovannini) and just back from an excellent performance at home against Conegliano; one former among the Azzurri ranks: Giulia Carraro, at Vallefoglia in 2022-2023.
The match will start at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, and will be broadcast live by DAZN as well as Volleyball World TV.
Enrico Marchioni (general manager of Igor Gorgonzola Novara) expressed himself as follows on the eve of the match: “Returning immediately to the court after the disappointment of a defeat like the one in Perugia will be an opportunity to put that match behind us immediately and resume a path that despite the difficulties had been very positive until the match with Conegliano. Having so many close commitments limits our ability to work in the gym but this is a problem that all formations have to deal with a bit. I trust that in addition to the reaction of the team, which I am sure will not be lacking, also the presence of our fans and a warm and positive environment like the one at Pala Igor can give us something more at this moment, against an opponent of high level and certainly ready to give battle”.
