The Italian National Health Association has organized “The 1st Beat,” a charity project that was created with a twofold objective: on the one hand, to create a sporting event of high symbolic and social value; and on the other, to create a stable path of support for health care and prevention projects. The title “The 1st Beat” symbolically recalls the beginning of a path of life, hope, and rebirth: the heartbeat represents emotion, strength, and the will to care for others, especially women and the youngest.

“In our vision, we wish to develop, over time, thematic projects dedicated to the most fragile, while maintaining a strong focus on women’s and children’s health, thanks in part to the professional and human contribution of Prof. Cipriano and the health members of the Executive Board. The first major event related to the project will be the charity quadrangular “Crai Cup Charity Award,” scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Circolo Sportivo La Salle Sport in Rome, starting at 2:30 p.m.” a note explained.

100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to develop projects for the Pediatric Oncology Department of the Umberto I Hospital in Rome. Four exceptional teams will take the field: the National Italian Healthcare Team (NIS), the National Italian Women Journalists (NIG), the Official Fideuram Private Banker Selection and the National Italian Olympic Champions (NICO). A day of sports, solidarity and sharing, open to families, children, fans and all those who wish to support this important cause.

The Italian National Healthcare Team is an association officially established on September 26, 2025 at the instigation of Dr. Joseph Fiore, general manager of the Italian Pathology Group Laboratory, a reality operating in the field of advanced diagnostics, and Dr. Prof. Luca Cipriano, Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Holy Family Nursing Home and Professor at the UniCamillus University.
