After three consecutive defeats, the’Eurotek Laica UYBA regains the smile and the victory: at the E-Work Arena the butterflies overcome Honda Cuneo Granda Volley with a dry 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-22) conquering three precious points that bring them to 9 in the standings. It was a show of strength and character for the Bustocca team, which led the match almost always with authority, giving up something only in the second set, but never giving the impression that it could lose control of the match.

Coach Barbolini starts with a novelty in the starting six: Torcolacci starts at center from the first minute, providing solidity and presence at the wall. From the second set Eckl also enters, replacing Van Avermaet, contributing with concreteness to the red and white cause. UYBA imposed its own rhythm right from the start: precise on serve, effective in attack and tidy in defense, it left no chance for a struggling Cuneo, which also had to deal with bad luck: Martinez was forced out in the final of the second set due to injury, while Pritchard remained in the pits and was replaced in the band by Rivero from the start.

The MVP of the evening is Melanie Parra, an authentic draftee: for the Mexican setter 14 points, with two aces, an excellent 54% positive reception and great lucidity in the hot moments of the match. Next to her shines Obossa, top scorer of the match with 19 points, while Alessia Gennari confirms herself as a reference of balance and personality, closing with 9 points and an offensive 42%. Also fundamental was the contribution of Pelloni, perfect in reception (80% positive) and always present in defensive dynamics.

Cuneo did not need just 15 points from Pucelj, the only one to find continuity in attack. UYBA finally returns to show its best version: aggressive, compact and determined. A clear and convincing victory, which boosts the team in the standings and especially in morale, in view of the upcoming championship commitments.
