Davis Cup, Spain swaggering ahead of final with Italy. Alcaraz exults on social media

Spain believes after victory against Germany: the Iberians’ captain David Ferrer at the end of the Davis Cup semifinal win in Bologna put Italy in his sights. “We are playing in Bologna, at Italy’s home and it’s only fair, because they won the last two editions of the Davis Cup, while we played in Spain last year and never made it to the final: we are ready to fight and win”.
.
Even without Carlos Alcaraz, the Spaniards made it to the’last act of the competition: “We wanted Carlos to be here to help the team: he is our best player. But sometimes these things happen, there are injuries in tennis and we had a great week without him”.
“We are growing day by day, point by point: we are players who can compete in all situations. That is what we are showing and what we want to continue doing”, Ferrer concluded.
In the meantime, Alcaraz himself applauded his teammates on social media: “Vamos. Great! See you tomorrow for the cup”, wrote the world number one, who was unable to participate in the Davis Cup due to a thigh problem
