Palladino: "The Atalanta I want is the one in the second half"

A debut with defeat for Raffaele Palladino on the bench of Atalanta, which was defeated 3-1 in Naples. The new Dea coach is optimistic, however: “They were good at going man-to-man, we had put Pasalic on to allow more dribbling but we were not good at it. There was, however, a very positive second half, the Atalanta I want to see is the one from the second half”.
Scamacca, who entered in the second half, changed the game: “He’entered with the right spirit, but in general I liked the attitude of the whole team in the second half. We have to restart from there. I expect a lot from my forwards”.
Palladino then pointed the way forward: “We need to work on intensity. The team has done a lot of volume but we need to find the intensity that has been missing in the last period. The boys know this, with me we work”.
“They are soldiers, whatever I ask of them they do it, it is a great starting point to work on. There are many positive things to work on. We especially need to work more on the non-possession phase”.
