Art and wines meet in San Martino Siccomario thanks to the Golf and Wine 1895 project, which returns to support initiatives related to Made in Italy. In fact, Cantine Vitea, led by Antonio Faravelli, is flanking the bi-personal exhibition of Ada Eva Verbena and Chiara Albertini, inaugurated in the presence of Mayor Andrea Viola and Culture Councillor Rachele Covelli and open to the public on Nov. 21, 22 and 23, 2025.

The exhibition is being held in San Martino Siccomario, Italy, in the presence of the Mayor Andrea Viola and Culture Councillor Rachele Covelli.

Born in 2008, Golf and Wine 1895 combines the Oltrepò Pavese wine tradition with a passion for golf. The name recalls 1895, the year the historic family wineries were founded. Over the years, the project has become a means of territorial promotion, capable of combining sports, food and wine and tourism through the sponsorship of tournaments and cultural initiatives. Support for the San Martino exhibition confirms this openness to the art world, which is seen as a natural extension of the territory’s values.

The exhibition brings into dialogue two different but complementary artistic researches. Chiara Albertini presents three-dimensional collages that enhance the typical flora of Pavia and Lomellina. Ada Eva Verbena, on the other hand, develops the theme of the labyrinth through works made of felted boiled wool and other materials, transforming the urban structure into a metaphor for the complexity of the city and its most intimate dimensions.

Together, the two artists construct a new visual map that traverses nature and architecture, inviting the public to observe places with a deeper attention, capable of highlighting landscapes, memories, everyday paths and local identities. It is an invitation to an inner journey that reflects the spirit with which Cantine Vitea promotes its work: to enhance what makes the territory unique.

The winery, custodian of a centuries-old tradition and known for wines that have won awards several times, continues to be an ambassador of quality Made in Italy. Some of its labels were even appreciated by Giacomo Puccini, a detail that creates an evocative link between history, culture and wine production. A combination of content and products that best expresses the richness of Oltrepò Pavese.
