Juventus market, an assist arrives to management for zero-parameter hit

While it is true that the winter market can be an opportunity to shore up the roster ahead of the second half of the season, it is also true that the month of January is important on another front, that of the upcoming free agents: in fact, as per the regulations, from January 1 it will be possible to pre-agree with a player whose contract is expiring and there are those who, like Juventus, are considering a great opportunity, that of bringing Bernardo Silva to Italy.
Interviewed by Portuguese broadcaster Sport TV, the 31-year-old Benfica-raised player, who has been at Manchester City since 2017, revealed that he wants to try a new experience when his current deal with the Mancunian club expires on June 30, 2026. Bernardo Silva also made it clear that he wants to stay in Europe “at the highest level” ruling out, at least for now, the Middle East or the United States.
Juventus would therefore be interested in entering into negotiations with the player’s entourage, which would offer from a technical point of view an offensive solution to be exploited in multiple positions: in fact, in his career, Bernardo Silva has played as a winger, as a trequartista and also, albeit less often, as a second forward.
It will be important, however, to overcome competition from other big clubs: in Italy, in addition to Juve, AC Milan could attempt a Modric-like operation, but it is the Premier League itself that offers several possibilities with Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham ready to assault. Not to be excluded, then, is a possible return to Benfica, especially if the Lisbon Eagles were to confirm their presence in the Champions League.
