Champions League 2025-2026: Sporting-Club Brugge, the likely lineups

Sporting hosts Club Brugge in the fifth day of the Champions League. Kickoff at 9 p.m. at the Alvalade. The green-and-whites are coming off a valuable draw at Allianz Stadium against Juventus, which kept them at the top of the standings. The Belgians are also coming off a draw, full of goals –3-3 with Barcelona -: now they need points to get back into the play-off zone.

Among the hosts, Suarez is set to lead the’attack, supported by Quenda, Trincao and Catamo in the three-quarter. The’former Lecce Hjulmand in midfield, paired with Simoes, defense headed by Diomande.

Few changes, on the other hand, in Club Brugge compared to the lineup fielded in the league: Tresoldi will be the pivot of the attack, with Tzolis, Vanaken and Forbs supporting in the three-quarter. In midfield, space for Onyedika with Stankovic.
