Girona and Real Madrid take the field Sunday evening at 9 p.m. for a match valid for the 14th day of La Liga. The Blancos after two disappointing consecutive draws against Rayo and Elche have been temporarily overtaken by Barcelona and must answer their arch-rivals tonight with a victory that would put them back on top of the standings. Xabi Alonso’s team, which has ended up in the crosshairs of newspapers and fans, faces an away Girona, which is just third-last on 11 points but has not lost at home in more than two months.

The team’s first goal is to win against the Barcelona team.

Vanat leads Girona’s attack, supported in the three-quarter by Tsygankov, Ounahi, Gil. In the median are Martin and Witsel.

Mbappé and Vinicius in attack for Real Madrid, behind them rotates Bellingham. Guler, Camavinga and Valverde are in midfield. On the flanks push Alexander-Arnold and Carreras.
