An important transaction, which immediately turned the spotlight on him.

The boy has technical qualities, dynamism and character. He is a player who runs a lot, attacks spaces and does not back down in physical confrontation. At the same time, however, he has not yet fully confirmed the very high expectations that accompanied him in his days at Boca, where he was considered one of the most promising prospects in the nursery.

His name, meanwhile, continues to circulate in Europe as well. Inter has been following him for some time, even since he wore the Xeneize jersey. Javier Zanetti has always been a great admirer of his, and it would not be surprising if Medina’s profile became topical again in the Nerazzurri’s plans. The Milanese club, however, is not the only one keeping a close eye on his growth.

In Serie A, in fact, Roma and Napoli have also gathered information on the Argentine midfielder. Talent is not in question: Medina is one of Estudiantes’ strengths and enjoys a nontrivial guarantee, that of Juan Sebastián Verón, a central figure in the club’s project and very attentive to the development of youngsters.

The club’s youngsters are not the only ones watching.

Although the local market is in turmoil, the player’s will appears clear. Born in Moreno, Medina dreams of making the jump to Europe in the short term, considering it a key step in his career. River Plate continues to insist in Argentina, but in the meantime concrete signals are coming from abroad.

From Brazil, for example, Botafogo has already started to move, trying to convince him with an ambitious project and a central role in the team. Medina’s future therefore remains open, suspended between the desire for consecration, European sirens and South American offers.
