Serie A: Como strolls to Lecce, Cagliari strikes in Turin

Following Fiorentina’s umpteenth defeat, which fell to Parma, the 17th day of Serie A continued with two away victories: Como handed Lecce a dry 3-0 win with goals from Nico Paz, Ramon and Douvikas, while Cagliari overturned Torino, which had gone ahead through Vlasic, with goals from Prati and Kilicsoy.

At Via del Mare, the Larians took the lead after twenty minutes with a shot by Nico Paz deflected by Tiago Gabriel that mocked Falcone. In the second half the guests doubled with a close touch by Ramon on an assist from Vojvoda. On 75′ Como dropped the trio: Nico Paz imbued for Douvikas who slipped it past Falcone.

At the Olimpico Grande Torino just before the half-hour mark the Granata go ahead with Vlasic who scores from an empty goal on an assist from Adams. At the end of the first half the red and blue tied the score with Prati who made it 1-1 from two steps. In the second half came the Sardinians’ overtake at 66′ with Kilicsoy, who munched two opponents before unleashing a surgical left-footed shot from the edge.

Thanks to these victories Como and Cagliari rise respectively to 27 and 18 points in the standings: the Biancoblù momentarily return to the Europa zone, while the Rossoblù shorten right on the Granata stopped at 20, in 13th place. Lecce, finally, remains at 16, overtaken by Parma, 15th.
