Two-way race for Mattia Udom

The crisis of Blu Basket Bergamo and the subsequent withdrawal from the A2 Series championship is having, as a natural consequence, also important repercussions at the market level. The players belonging to the club until a few days ago are in fact now released and their agents are working to find an accommodation between now and the end of the sports year. Several important profiles not only among foreigners, with D’Angelo Harrison in Roseto’s sights, but also among Italian basketball players, such as Mattia Udom.
For the name of the 1993-class wing, according to Superbasket reports, a two-way race has begun with Givova Scafati as the favorite, looking for an immediate reinforcement to raise the physical and athletic level of the outside department. However, VL Pesaro, one of the top five teams in the standings after Fortitudo’s success in Turin on Friday night, also remains vigilant, ready to steal the’former Sassari from the Yellowoblù.
Bergamo’s withdrawal, on the other hand, has redrawn the balance of the championship both at the top of the standings and in the salvation zone: it is no coincidence that all the other clubs are moving to take advantage of the opportunity and reinforce their rosters ahead of the last phase of the regular season.
An experienced player who grew up in Mens Sana Siena with which he also made his debut among seniors, Mattia Udom has also worn the undershirts of CUS Siena, Affrico Firenze, Fortitudo Agrigento, Pallacanestro Biella, Scaligera Verona, New Basket Brindisi, Aquila Basket Trento and Dinamo Sassari. He also boasts two games played on the senior national team, between 2021 and 2022.
