Florentin dreams until 94′ then Torino gives birth to a bitter reality that looks more like a nightmare. At the Stadio Franchi, it ended 2-2, with the decisive goal sealed for the granata by Maripan as time expired. The Viola, before then, had managed through Manor Solomon and Moise Kean to come back from Cesare Casadei’s initial Granata lead, taking themselves out of the relegation zone for the first time this season. The late equalizer, on the other hand, is worth only the’hooking up with Lecce, but still in third-last position.

Florentin fans can&#039t take it anymore: they started with irony before the match with Verona…
… and they continued after the triple whistle that sanctioned the'umpteenth defeat of this dreadful championship

"Poor Ranieri how will he fall asleep tonight" (Maximus)
"The property of records!" (Alexander)
"What sorrow. Humiliated by everyone. Forced to read and hear the joy of the rest of Italy. What pain…" (Laura)
"And so much already I know that next year you play on Saturday" (Andrea)
"What do I do, I detach?" (Dario)
"But to avoid this heartbreak, can’t we already demote it now?" (Andrea)

"Chiavari is a nice little town, and they make pesto very well" (David)

Kean himself makes it clear that he is on a night out by creating two chances in a matter of seconds after the game had been going on for about five minutes. However, Torino is also in the game, with Kulenovic immediately dangerous: Parisi saves. Then Lazaro and Kean himself miss two colossal chances, unlike Casadei who terrorizes Fiorentina on 26′ with a winning header on Ilkhan’s assist. But, above all, it is the purple defense that incredibly leaves the’former Inter and Chelsea man alone. The reaction is vehement, but initially ineffective: Brescianini, Mandragora, Kean, Gudmundsson and Comuzzo miss the equalizing goal.

The second half seemed to continue.

The resumption seemed to continue the purple nightmare, with Gudmundsson immediately forced to leave the field due to injury. Fiorentina, however, managed not to get discouraged and, after an acrobatic attempt by Mandragora, finally found the goal at 51′ with Solomon: great responsibility for Gineitis, who in fact gave Mandragora a ball then served to the Israeli who only had to fling it into the goal from long distance. It is not over: at 57′ Kean exalts the Franchi with a feat on Harrison’s great cutback. The very player sent on by Paolo Vanoli in place of Gudmundsson.

It would seem a magical and long-awaited night for Fiorentina, finally fourth-last in Serie A with Lecce and the relegation zone two points away. And the result could become even more of a comeback when Mandragora on a free kick came close to a hat trick. But Torino did not leave the match for good and at the’last sprint mocked the Gigliati.

Already before 90′ it is De Gea who saves everything on Duvan Zapata’s great attempt in tow, but it is at 94′ that the meaning of the match is turned upside down. Gineitis takes a free kick from the three-quarter, on which Maripan anticipates everyone with his header by turning the ball into the goal. Torino wins a precious point, for Fiorentina it is all to do again.
