Arbeloa clashes with senator and fans rise up: it’s controversy

There is no peace for Real Madrid fans this season: the team is having so many problems in the locker room and the latest trouble concerns Alvaro Arbeloa and Dani Carvajal. The Spanish senator is back in operation after a bad knee injury but with the new coach he is not finding space and even in the last game he was on the bench for 90 minutes (for the fifth consecutive time in the league).
During the match against Valencia, cameras caught Dani Carvajal in conversation with Antonio Pintus, Real Madrid’s trainer and Florentino Perez’s trusted man, and the Spanish champion did not look particularly happy. Carvajal has a lot of influence in the locker room and is certainly not liking Alvaro Arbeloa’s management.
Fans are not happy either, and on social media many have called for more respect for Dani Carvajal, a true pillar of Real Madrid. The champion ranks 22nd in players who have made the most appearances with Real Madrid (438, tied with Cristiano Ronaldo) and has won a lot.
“For me there’s a Carvajal problem – said Cadena SER journalist Antonio Romero -He is the Real Madrid captain and usually never complains, but the other day he made a statement of intent because he said he was ready to play. His contract expires on June 30 this year, he is important for the national team and not only is he not playing, he is not even warming up. I insist: there’s a Carvajal” problem.
Last summer, very few would have imagined such a troubled season for Real Madrid: the club had chosen Xabi Alonso to pick up Carlo Ancelotti’s legacy, and the Spanish coach’s arrival had generated great enthusiasm among the fans, especially after his excellent results with Bayer Leverkusen. Unfortunately, however, Xabi Alonso’s experience on the Real Madrid bench lasted only a few months.
It seems that the coach had problems with some players on the roster such as, for example, Vinicius. The Brazilian was very attached to Carlo Ancelotti and his working methodology but Xabi Alonso turned everything upside down and imposed new rules and new tactics that were much more rigid. In the Spanish coach’s plans, Vinicius was also supposed to adapt but this was not the case and Florentino Perez, in order to prevent the situation from degenerating, preferred to exonerate Xabi Alonso.
