Serie A 2025-2026: Atalanta-Cremonese, the likely lineups

The 24th day of Serie A goes into the archives on Monday, Feb. 9, with two matches to close the program. At 6:30 p.m. space is given to the Lombardy derby between Atalanta and Cremonese, while at 8:45 p.m. it will be Roma and Cagliari’s turn to take the field in the evening postponement.
Raphael Palladino’s Atalanta is looking for continuity and heavy points in the chase for European competitions. After a start to the season that was far from easy, La Dea has been able to react, alternating between wins and draws that have brought it back close to the top positions. The minimum goal remains a valid Conference League placement: ahead of the Bergamasks is Cesc Fàbregas’ Como, sixth with 41 points, while Atalanta follows at 36. A success in the Lombardy derby would allow them to keep their European ambitions alive.
Palladino will, however, have to do without the disqualified De Roon and Ahanor, while Kolasinac could return to the squad. In attack, Giacomo Raspadori is traveling toward confirmation from the first minute after the Coppa Italia match against Juventus.
The grigiorossi, on the other hand, are going through a difficult moment and haven’t centered a victory since last Dec. 7, when they won 2-0 over Lecce. Since then, only draws and defeats have come, including the one accrued in the last round against Inter. Espugnare Bergamo would represent a turning point: it would mean moving away from the dangerous zone, reaching Parma on 26 points and facing the direct clash with Genoa, scheduled for Feb. 15, with greater confidence.
Probable lineups
Atalanta (3-4-2-1): Carnesecchi; Scalvini, Djimsiti, Kolasinac; Bellanova, Ederson, Pasalic, Zalewski; De Ketelaere, Raspadori; Scamacca. All. Palladino
Cremonese (3-5-2): Audero; Terracciano, Baschirotto, Luperto; Barbieri, Thorsby, Grassi, Maleh, Pezzella; Bonazzoli, Vardy. All. Nicola
