Lando Norris excited about the new McLaren: "I can’t wait to get back on the track"

With a live streaming from Bahrain, McLaren unveiled the new livery of the MCL40 in which world champion Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will race in the 2026 Formula One World Championship. The reigning champion team maintained the tradition of not upsetting the livery of the single-seater that just won the World Championship: confirmed the iconic papaya orange along with a decided anthracite and small hints of petrol green.

One of the stars at the unveiling of the Woking team’s new car was, of course, Lando Norris: “It’s great to be back in Bahrain to unveil this season’s livery. The design is fantastic and I am excited to continue racing in the colors that were part of our huge success last year”.

The 26-year-old British driver returned to last season&#8217s historic triumph in the last race in Abu Dhabi: “To win the championship with the team I&#8217ve been part of since the beginning was incredible. We come into this season as world champions, and I am curious to see what we can achieve in this new era of Formula 1”.

“A big thank you to everyone who helped design and build this car, enabling us to reach this milestone. Thanks also to the fans who support us week after week and to our partners for their support. I am ready for this season, looking forward to getting back on track and continuing to push hard” concluded Norris.
