Marta Bassino charged on the eve of the first World Cup race, the giant slalom in Soelden: “I worked very well this summer both from the point of view of athletic preparation, for months since the work on skis we did in Ushuaia, and from the point of view of training in Argentina where we gave a lot of continuity. I’m fine, even in this period I’m skiing well. Let’s see how it will be tomorrow.”
Azzurra is determined to get off to a good start: “I will try to stay focused on myself even if there are delays, moves or whatever. In the last season I grew up, I was coming from the previous one that went very very well. There was a little bit of disappointment but I take everything to move forward, and to take the best out of every opportunity,” her words to Fisi channels.
