Social on the boil after the first half in Lisbon, with many Juventus fans expressing all their discontent with the result with Benfica (3-1 for the ‘encarnados’ at the break) and the unsympathetic news circulating on the day.
More than one nostalgic person called for the return of Luciano Moggi, a longtime manager of the Old Lady and now 85 years old.
The dose, of course, was rekindled the moment the Portuguese lineup, minutes after play resumed, scored its fourth goal. Arek Milik’s entry onto the pitch in place of Moise Kean was also greeted controversially: ‘But shouldn’t the Pole have started from the first minute?’ some enraged Bianconeri supporters wondered.
