Within hours of news of Triple H’s official return to the WWE management cadre, a resounding twist has now come.
Vince McMahon, until a few weeks ago major shareholder, president and CEO of the family business, has just announced on Twitter his retirement from the wrestling world: “At 77 years old it is time for me to retire. Thank you WWE Universe.”
Vince McMahon, recently forced to resign as president and CEO of WWE due to an investigation against him, effectively leaves the family federation now in the hands of his daughter Stephanie, who will thus no longer serve as interim CEO, and Triple H himself, Stephanie’s husband.
