NBA: Boston considers Carmelo Anthony as Danilo Gallinari’s replacement
Gallinari injured during match with Georgia
Complicated by the injury he sustained in the match, valid for the 2023 World Cup qualifiers, against Georgia (meniscus injury), Gallinari, in addition to having to miss the European Basketball Championships, will have to miss the early part of the new NBA season. The Rooster, in fact, will have to sit out for about a couple of months.
The Celtics, to fill the void left by the Italian, would be thinking of signing Anthony. Coming back from the not exciting adventure with the Los Angeles Lakers’ jersey, the veteran class of 1984 has no intention of retiring and could now land in Boston. Anthony has also been approached by other NBA franchises, including the New York Knicks, a franchise he played with for a long time.
