Juventus, Max Allegri doesn’t hide disappointment and goes down flat
The Livorno coach admits to being disappointed with the Franchi match
He is far from satisfied Massimiliano Allegri after the 1-1 draw that his Juventus wrested from a Fiorentina side that seemed brighter than the Bianconeri over the ninety minutes. An impression that, to the microphones of ‘Dazn’, he commented leaving a little diplomacy aside towards his own players.
“I’m happy with the fifth consecutive useful result, but we had gone ahead and when the game starts like that it has to be bitten: instead we were not able to. Angry with my people? A little at the end, because we suffered Fiorentina’s desire to win.”
On what Juventus could have done more, Allegri added: “We could have taken better advantage of some counterattacks, but we had to close the game in the first half. We need a change of mentality, there are actions that change your game and that we cannot fail to exploit.”
A few words also about the changes: “Di Maria had to go out,” he said, “I had to put Cuadrado in his position but he struggled, then I inserted Miretti. Paredes? Good game, the change with Fagioli at the end was fitting.”
