NFL, New York beats Tennessee on a two-point play
New York hadn’t started the regular season with a win since 2016
The NFL regular season has begun. Among the most surprising contests was New York’s victory over Tennessee (21-20). The Giants took home the win (New York had not started the regular season with a victory since 2016) thanks to a final two-point play.
Instead of going for the extra point conversion (which would have resulted in a tie), Coach Daboll opted for the two-point conversion and he was right. “We’re going for the win. We want to be aggressive, that’s what we want to be. If it didn’t work, I would have lived with it,” Coach Daboll’s words reported by ESPN. In the other contests, the losses of Bengals, Patriots, 49ers and Raiders should be highlighted.
