The Dutch rainbow winner participated in a promotional event at Imola

He dominated the 2022 drivers’ world championship. He also won in Japan, in the last race held, just to legitimize a superiority that was at times embarrassing. Net of a few too many mistakes – in the management of some races that perhaps could have gone differently – by the Ferrari race wall, Max Verstappen’s capture of the world championship title, his second in a row, was more than deserved.

Not even time to celebrate, however, that immediately the son of the art was back at the wheel. Albeit for a promotional event held in Imola.

As reported by ‘Sabatosera.it’ newspaper, Verstappen experienced the thrill of driving the Red Bull RB09, that is, the car driven by Sebastian Vettel when he won the world title in 2013. The session at the wheel of the former Ferrari driver’s car did not fail to arouse the curiosity of several fans, who flocked to the ‘Enzo and Dino Ferrari’ Autodrome as soon as news of the event spread.

Sebastian Vettel was the first driver to win a world championship with Red Bull. The German put everyone in line for four years in a row, from 2010 to 2013. The Austrian stable returned to success in 2021 thanks to Max Verstappen himself, with the son of art repeating the following year. If there was a battle to the last in 2021, that was not the case in 2022.
