Radonjic reveals a market backstory

During an interview granted to Gazzetta dello Sport, Nemanja Radonjic spoke about his new adventure in Italy with the Granata shirt, already looking ahead to Sunday night’s match between Torino and AC Milan, scheduled to take place at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino at 8:45 p.m.

The granata fantasist commented on his start of the season at Torino as follows, “I am happy because finally at Toro I am finding those sensations I need: continuity and goals. In recent years I had not played so much, then I crossed Toro and Juric who made me feel important. I needed this warmth. We are approaching the World Cup, I am happy with my path. My head is only on the championship, then at the World Cup I should be there. Hopefully….”

He then spoke about the upcoming challenge against AC Milan: “They played a good game in Zagreb. It is challenging to face such a strong opponent. I like playing these matches, they are the ones that complete a footballer. When you make a difference on these occasions it is like passing a big exam.”

Finally, he revealed a backstory on the negotiation that brought him to Granata: “I liked the idea of returning to Italy and I wanted to work with Juric. Before signing, the coach told me, ‘I need you.’ I found a club that placed me at the center, it was fundamental. I wanted Torino so much that I even gave up part of my old signing.”
