At the microphones of La Gazzetta dello Sport Filippo Ranocchia retraced the moments of terror following the attack on his comrade Pablo Marì, who was shot during the tragedy that unfolded in Assago on Thursday night: “We couldn’t believe it, it seemed absurd that one of our comrades was stabbed while he was shopping with his family.”

“It was shocking news for everyone. When we learned that his life was not in danger it was a huge relief, we wanted to go to see him right away, but the club told us it was better to wait. Against Bologna we will play for Pablo but also for Luis Fernando Ruggieri who lost his life in this crazy attack. Our thoughts are with him who did not make it, his loved ones and all the people involved in that night of terror,” concluded the biancorosso midfielder.
