Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic pawing for return to the field
Milan: Ibra pawing for return
Among the guests at the 13th edition of the “Globe Soccer Awards” in Dubai was Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who spoke to the microphones of Sky Sport.
“I have so much desire to come back. I’m fine, I’m better, I’m working and I hope to come back,” Zlatan began.
“Do I feel like dragging the team? Of course, that’s the mentality. This league is a little different because the first part I couldn’t be on the field, hopefully for the second part. The team is doing well, it has grown so much since I arrived. This year we are doing well but Napoli is doing better. The second half will be more important than the first. Scudetto? Why should we not believe in it? We always believe in it,” Ibra continued.
He then praised the work of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, who were awarded “best sporting director of the year” in Dubai: “They are doing a great job and then thanks to them Milan is achieving great success, they are growing as the team and as the club, we are all doing a great job.”
Finally, a thought on the Champions League round of 16, which will see the Diavolo face Antonio Conte’s Tottenham: “The game is open and there is no favorite, you have to be well in that moment.”
