Reyer Venezia, Walter De Raffaele is concerned
Reyer Venezia was defeated by Brindisi
The coach of Reyer Venezia, Walter De Raffaele, gave his opinion on the defeat of the orogranata team in the match valid for the ninth day of the maximum Italian basketball championship against Brindisi: Vitucci’s men won in front of the Apulian public with a score of 75-63.
“I think it’s obvious to say that Brindisi deserved this victory because they always commanded the game. We showed quite worrying offensive sterility,” admitted the Venetians’ coach worriedly.
“In the first quarter so many bad open shots and in general really modest percentages. We came back in the second quarter, but I think it’s really hard to think about winning away from home against a team that was hungry for points, as we had to be, with 20 turnovers and a negative differential of 9 rebounds and 14 shots from the field,” De Raffaele continued.
Reyer will be engaged on Tuesday, Dec. 6, in a direct clash against Turkey’s Bursaspor, tied on points with the Orogranatas after the first six days of the Eurocup.
