Bologna knocks on Pisa’s door for a defender
Bologna wants to gift a defender to Thiago Motta
The start of the winter soccer market is getting closer and closer, and Bologna’s management is working to find reinforcements to put at Thiago Motta’s disposal ahead of the second half of the championship, which will resume on January 4, after the break for the World Cup in Qatar.
The first department in which the Bologna club would like to intervene is the defensive one and the names to be monitored are several, especially of full-backs: on the left flank, Cambiaso has not yet fully convinced and the Rossoblù club would be evaluating other profiles.
The first is that of Valencia player Toni Lato, little used by Gattuso in the first part of the season. Besides the one for the Spaniard, another viable track is that for Pisa full-back Pietro Beruatto, one of the most used by coach Luca D’Angelo. Finally, the last name for the left lane is that of Josh Doig, a Scotsman born in 2002 who is performing very well at Hellas Verona.
