Torino, in the crosshairs of Serie B’s top scorer
Torino could release Antonio Sanabria
The winter soccer market is approaching and Torino is looking for reinforcements in attack for which the granata could also decide to sacrifice Antonio Sanabria, a starter for most of the games played so far but then overtaken by Pietro Pellegri, now injured.
The Turin club’s targets make Bari, third in the Serie B standings, tremble: in fact, the management of President Urbano Cairo’s club would put in first place, among the names for the offensive department, that of the Apulian club’s striker Walid Cheddira.
The Moroccan center forward, fresh from the semifinals reached at the World Cup in Qatar with his national team, impressed in the first part of the championship by scoring nine times: the best in the cadetteria together with Matteo Brunori of Palermo.
Granata technical director Davide Vagnati could therefore focus the management’s attentions precisely on the player of the Atlas Lions, in order to succeed in snatching him from Bari as early as January: a scenario that Apulian fans obviously do not hope for.
