Ducati centaur: “Now there is less psychological warfare than in the past.”

Ducati Pramac centaur Jorge Martin in an interview with the “Nude Project” podcast looked back on his MotoGp career, first recalling the terrible crash in Portimao in 2021: “I remember flying off and already waking up in the hospital. I was going 170 km/h, I wasn’t going that fast. It was a very hard blow to the head. At first it felt like a dream, I didn’t understand anything. I remember being in a wheelchair for a month with my hands and legs in a cast. That was the only time I thought about quitting.”

Speaking about the controversy between riders, Jorge Martin is clear: “In MotoGp now everything is quieter. In these years there is much less psychological warfare than in the past, with Valentino Rossi, Sete Gibernau and Max Biaggi jumping each other all day long. Now there is respect, we have a safety committee and we try to improve safety.”
