Juventus-Rabiot, there is distance: Chelsea comes forward
The midfielder’s future could be in the Premier League
Rabiot is having a season at the highest level. With his contract expiring in June, he is trying to figure out what his future will be. Juventus is reportedly ready to extend his contract. An offer of seven million euros per season (plus signing bonus) is ready.
A remarkable offer but one that would not satisfy the Frenchman’s entourage, particularly his mother. To stay, whoever manages Rabiot, would ask for 10 million euros a year. A lot, too much for the coffers of the Bianconeri club but not for Chelsea, which, in fact, would be ready to step up and thus snatch Rabiot from the Old Lady. It would be a big hoax. After several seasons not at the top, losing him now that he seems to have come of age would be a shame.
