Fiorentina, Commisso categorical after post-defeat episodes with Bologna

On Sunday Fiorentina was defeated at the Franchi stadium by Bologna with the result 1-2, the third defeat in the last four rounds of Serie A. At the end of the match, the purple fans chanted several choruses, first booing the players and then the management of the lily club.

Speaking on the subject at the microphones of Radio Bruno was purple president Rocco Commisso: “I came today because someone said that I speak only when things are going well, well that’s not the case! Now it’s up to me to defend the team, the coach and all the staff.”

“After the game I heard some chants that are not right. In America when you lose a game, you don’t hear such filth. The managers and also all other members of the club are criticized when it suits them, and that is not right,” the businessman continued about the booing at the end of the game.

“True cheering is not shown when you win, but especially when you lose. That’s where you have to encourage the boys and the club. Everyone has a heart and feelings, and in difficult times you have to convey trust and closeness to the team to help them,” Commisso continued in reference to the importance of the fans.
