Gabriele Cirilli thunders, “Juventus scapegoated.”
Gabriele Cirilli goes on the counterattack
Interviewed by the website Milanoteatri.it, actor and Juventus fan Gabriele Cirilli spoke about the situation the Juventus team is experiencing: “I am saddened. I do not want to justify, but tell me a team that is not ‘dirty.’ I say this from personal experience. Juventus is the scapegoat, because it is the one that did wrong with Moggi, because it is envied by everyone after the 9 consecutive championships. On capital gains there is no legislation, you cannot make it retroactive now. 15 penalty points is a disgrace, it means you want to sink Juventus and I think it’s not over yet. The whole soccer world should be cleaned up.”
The comedian, who is touring Italian theaters with the show Duepuntozero, also analyzed the sports side: “Like all cycles a decline was to be expected. Too bad we didn’t win the Champions League, we remain eternal seconds like Toto Cutugno. The season started badly, then they recovered a bit but after the penalty even the head got a bit lost.”
