Malagò and CONI remember the unfortunate Elena

CONI President Giovanni Malagò, interpreting the feelings of the entire movement, joins the condolences of the relatives and family of alpine skiing for the loss of a champion who helped write an indelible page of the discipline.

In her career Elena, sister of the two other former national teams Nadia and Sabrina, had collected a world silver medal in the 2005 Bormio/Santa Caterina Valfurva downhill and two victories in as many World Cup races. And a lot of bad luck, with an endless series of injuries that, despite everything, had never deprived her of her smile. With the Italy Team she took part in three Olympic editions: Turin 2006, Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014. While, just because of the discovery of the disease she was forced to give up PyeongChang 2018.
