Slalom, first run

Mikaela Shiffrin put in a very clean run in the final slalom of the French Women’s World Championships and finished in first place with a time of 52″54, 19 hundredths ahead of Wendy Holdener and 61 ahead of a brilliant Laurence St. Germain.

The Canadian, who started with bib number 18 was able to slot in ahead of Lena Duerr, 92 cents behind first, and Petra Vlhova at 99.

The first of the Italian women was Lara Della Mea, 26/a with a 2″32 gap from the top, then Marta Rossetti, 29/a at 2″43. Out of the thirty Beatrice Sola at 2″54 and Anita Gulli at 5″46.

The second run is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. with live coverage on Rai Sport and Eurosport.
