Biathlon, amazing Dorothea Wierer-Lisa Vittozzi one-two punch.
Lisa Vittozzi won the specialty cup
Azzurre Azzurre great protagonists in the penultimate stage of the biathlon World Cup in Ostersund. Dorothea Wierer won the 15-kilometer individual event, signing an amazing all-Italian one-two with teammate Lisa Vittozzi in second.
The two Azzurre were flawless at the polygon, closed with an error-free run: Wierer finished the race 25 seconds ahead of her compatriot. Little bad for Vittozzi, who won the Specialty Cup, the second of her career after the one she won in 2019.
Also on the podium was Germany’s Hermann-Wick. For Dorothea Wierer it is the 15th career World Cup victory.
