“Pesaro plays well, with energy and aggressiveness, it’s never easy to play against us. And we were coming from a very tough game on Friday night: we struggled at the beginning, then seriousness and professionalism took over and with a break we closed the talks and then managed to manage the minutes. Positive night. We started in a way we might not have wanted, but when the intensity increased we were able to improve things and take, on the counterattack especially, the right shots to close it out. Sometimes we took risks, but the low number of lost balls shows that we were careful about a lot of things today. Mickey is helping us a lot on defense, not getting his shots in, but I hope he stays with the right motivation. Now we have a back to back in the Euroleague and we know that on certain courts like Tel Aviv if we are not careful we risk a lot. We don’t want to give up, we said we would fight to the last, we’re not mathematically out yet, I don’t want motivation leaks.”
