Monza-Lazio, Sarri outspoken on Milinkovic-Savic
Lazio coach: “It’s not a great moment, we are waiting for it.”
Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri in a press conference lashed out at the current policy of the soccer top brass: “The calendar is crazy, and I have heard the madness of increasing the number of matches. For every national team game there are 5-6 absentees due to injury. If soccer is treated only as a business, in ten years there will be nothing left: there are more interesting shows on TV.”
On Milinkovic-Savic’s moment: “Now he is not expressing himself at his best, if he returns to 100 percent he can make a difference for us in the final part. We are waiting for him with great confidence.”
On the other hand, Luis Alberto did well: “Right now he is a phenomenal player, I don’t know the public, the journalists what they look at in the game. For what the coach sees what he is doing makes me happy. Total player, he shoots at you from outside, chases, does everything. Over-the-top player.”
