Frosinone is the first promoted to Serie A.
In fact, the Ciociari folded Reggina 3-1 in the post-match match of the 35th day and thanks also to the draws of Genoa and Bari, respectively with Sudtirol (0-0) and Cittadella (1-1), they are mathematically promoted.
Grosso’s team took the lead in the 31st minute: an assist from Cotali for Borrelli’s 1-0. Shortly before the end of the first half, the 2-0 also came: a foul by Cionek (sent off) and a penalty kick converted by Roberto Insigne.
At the beginning of the second half the guests scored 2-1 with Hernani but six minutes later Giuseppe Caso, on an assist from Mazzitelli, signed the 3-1 that closed the score and started the party at Stirpe.
