Third Champions League for Paola Egonu who led VakifBank to triumph in the SuperFinals in Turin.
VakifBank Istanbul defeated Eczacibasi Istanbul 3-1 (27-25; 25-17; 23-25; 25-17) to win its sixth title after those of 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018 and 2022.
Paola Egonu, already queen in 2019 with Novara and in 2021 with Conegliano, was clearly the best on the court, as evidenced by the well-deserved Mvp award, the result of a 40-point performance and 65 percent in attack.
She thus won the duel with her longtime rival Tijana Boskovic, who failed to put more than 16 balls on the ground.
